Totally Tool!

Hi Stampers,

It's time for a "MAN CARD". . . using the stamp set, Totally Tool I "built" a card fit for a man. . . . I even have a man in mind for this card if my hubby ever gets the DIY bathroom remodel project done. :o)

As you can guess this hammer and screwdriver were cut out, not with a saw, but with scissors. LOL

Just a reminder that TOMORROW is the last day to order and receive FREE Sale-a-bration products.  Let me know if you have questions or need help shopping at http://www.georgiacaulkins.stampinup.net/.

Priceless

Hi Stampers,

Just a reminder there are only THREE days left of Sale-a-bration. . make sure to get those orders in now to earn FREE products!  http://www.georgiacaulkins.stampinup.net/

Today's card sample uses the stamp set, Priceless. . . it's been here for sometime, but I just got it a few months ago!  As I've mention before I'm on a PINK kick. . . that must be what happens when you have a little girl in your life. :o)

For this card I used a sponge to go around the edges before I attached it to the base.  The butterflies are also punched out and attached to pop them up!

I have more to share with you today . . . while I don't have a picture of the cake I made at class last night (yet) I do have pictures of the cupcakes I decorated last week.

As you can see they had a TON of frosting on them and they were a GREAT sugar high and a must to send with Rocky to Daves Autobody! :o)

Callie Ann's Notebook

Hi Stampers and HAPPY MONDAY!!!

I really hope it's going to be a GREAT week. . . Spring is here, so lets bring on the warm weather!!!

As I mention yesterday I made a notebook for Callie Ann. . . I wanted a place to write down her birthday gifts each year, so she can always look back and see what she got when she gets older.  For her book I just knew I wanted to use the Big Shot and Build-a-bear line.

Isn't it cute!  I so wish I would have made a book for Blake for his birthdays. . . I'll have to look for the lists and maybe I can "recreate" one.

Cake Notebook

Hi Stampers,

Yesterday I mention that I was taking a cake decorating class in Monmouth . . . before classes started I had to decorate a notebook so I would have a place to take notes. :o)

Of course I picked pink, which is quickly becoming my favorite color since Callie Ann joined our family. :o)

The cupcake was done with the big shot, and the "lace" was done using the eyelet border punch.  I had to use some retired ribbon, because I just LOVED the Mellon Mambo polk-a-dot ribbon!  I so wish SU would bring that back.

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for stopping by!

P.S. Check back tomorrow for another notebook . . . this time for Callie Ann!

Punch Bunch . . . card #3!

Hi Stampers!

WOW 3 days in a row . . . I'm on a roll! :o)

Well a lot has been going on in my life since I was able to blog on a regular time frame. . . Blake will be 5 next month, so I've been very busy working on party invites as well as party plans.  He also started Karate this past month and is continued to go to Knoxville to Awana Cubbies (youth group @ church).  Spring soccer starts next month and t-ball the month after that.  He is so busy, but LOVES it all!

Callie Ann is growing GREAT and is already 9 months old.  I have been thinking about her birthday party too, but I have to get Blake's done before I can do that.  Callie Ann is active like Blake, but we keep her on the sidelines. :o)

I have been taking a cake decorating class over in Monmouth and I'm very excited to make their birthday cakes this year!!!  And Rocky took on a bathroom remodel job, and it's going well. . . I'm hoping its will be done before card club in April, but I'm not holding my breath to hard. :o)

Well enough about the family . . it's sample time.  Today we are using the Punch Bunch again, because Sale-a-bration is almost over. :o(

This was a fun (and easy) card to make as all you need to do is color the stamp with markers and stamp.  Then use the scallop punches then assemble the layers except the Tempting Turquiose!  After your layers are assembled you run them through the Big Shot in the embossing folder.  Then add your ribbon and layer onto the card!

Wasn't that simple?

Thanks for stopping by today . . it's a busy day for me as I'm doing my 1st birthday cake today for Rocky's Grandpa . . . wish me luck!

Punch Bunch

Hi Stampers and TGIF!!!

Today I'd like to share with you another card using the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Punch Bunch.  This time we are using the owl stamp from the set and the matching owl punch!  Yes I said PUNCH!  You will NEVER have to cut out this little owl . . . isn't that exciting!!!

I love the simple cards with one or no layers. . . here the middle owl was stamped and punch out then attached to the card.  After I made this card I thought I should have colored the ick in S{ick}? with yellow to match the owls.  What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by and come back tomorrow for another Punch Bunch sample!
