Cookie for Santa Kits!!!

Christmas is coming and you can bet Santa will be expecting cookies. For my craft show last weekend I came up with the idea to make a few Cookies for Santa kits. These were so much fun to make. I used Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Black and Summer Sun Card Stock.

The Cookies for Santa Kits come packaged in a fun Paint Can (new of course), which is decorated to look like Santa's belly. Each kit includes one decorated paint can with can opener, one package of sugar cookie mix, two cookie cutters and one can of frosting decorated to match the paint can.

If you would like to purchase a Cookies for Santa Kit the cost per kit is $10.95. If you would like it mailed to you additional shipping cost will apply.

Happy Holidays!

I would also like to say Hi and Welcome to all of the wonderful ladies who stopped by my booth at the VFW craft show on Saturday. I'm glad you stopped by, and I'm even happier you are checking out my blog. Please let me know how I can help.

If you stopped by and/or are new to my blog leave me a comment, so I know you've found me.

Thanks!
Georgia

Calendars

Hello Stampers!

Here is another project I made for the craft show. They are 2009 Calendars, which I thought would be a perfect addition to any desk.

The first two use the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. I adhered them to a coaster then used my sanding sponge on each edge. Then I used my Crop-a-Dile to punch a hole and set my Jumbo Pewter Eyelet. The first two I also used the stripped Riding Hood Red Ribbon to tie the two coasters together.

For the calendar below I used the Holiday Treasures designer paper and the 1" Double-Stitched Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon. I finished by using my Craft & Paper Scissors to make the ends look neat.

Thanks for blogging with me today!

Frappuccino Bottles!

Hello Stampers!
I had so much fun at the craft show yesterday, and I would like to thank each of you who stopped by and said hi. I'm glad my first show is done, and I'm sure my husband is happy that it's over too. There is always so much stress in our house when I have deadlines. :o)

So that I could spend more time with my family and not locked into my stamp room I "moved" some of my stamp room into the living room. Wanna see???

As you can see I was saving clean up for later. (Notice the paper scraps all over the floor.) I did have a trash can, but the scraps didn't always make it in and Blake was also trying to help me get ready for the show. That's why there was two chairs at the table. :o)

Are you wondering what the bottles on the table are? Well they started out as empty frappuccino bottles that my sister, Carmen, has been saving for me. Thank you Carmen! I added a little paper and ribbon and filled them with a yummy treat. As you can see I didn't have the treat in them yet. Here is a better photo of the bottle.
Sorry, the designer paper is retired. I used all of my current Christmas paper on other projects, so I had to go searching for more paper. I used Real Red and Old Olive card stock to match the designer paper. Punches were: Scallop Circle, 1 1/4" Circle, 1 3/8" circle and my NEW 1 3/4" circle punch. The 1 3/4" circle punch was perfect for the top of the jar. . . . See photo below!
I used the stamp set, Deer Friends. By the way there is still time to earn this stamp set for FREE. Deer Friends is a level 2 Hostess Only Stamp Set, which you can get it for FREE when your workshop sales reach $300.00. If you want this set, call or e-mail me today. It's available until January 18th.

Thanks for visiting me today and enjoy your Sunday!

Jumbo Paper Clips

It's craft show day. . . . are you on your way? :o)

Today's post is going to be quick, so you can get going. :o)

For the craft show I altered some Jumbo Paper Clips. This would make perfect stocking stuffer or tie them to the top of a package for your neighbor or friend! You could even stick them in a Christmas Card. If you have an idea how to use them, please post a comment! I'd love to hear from you.
Here is a close up. The flash kinda washed out the color, but it looks great in person. Stop by today and I'll show you one. . . unless I'm sold out before you get there. :o)

Happy Saturday, and Thanks for Stopping By!

29th Annual Craft Show

Hello Stampers!

I would like to invite you to come see me tomorrow at the 29th Annual Craft Show sponsored by Warren County Home and Community Education. I'll be at the VFW Hall in Monmouth from 8:30 am to 3pm. The VFW is on the northwest edge of Monmouth at the corner of West Harlem Avenue and G Street across from Community Medical Center.

Last year I made cute little binder clips for this show. They are a perfect item to put on your desk with a holiday picture, keep on your kitchen counter with a recipe card, or use them a name place cards for your Christmas Dinner. You simply slide the image behind the scallop punch and they are ready!

The jumbo binder clips were so much fun to make last year that I just had to make more this year.

Can you see the Dazzling Diamonds on the Snowman's hat?

IMO the Chocolate Chip Clips are just to cute!

Thanks for looking, and if you're local I hope to see you tomorrow at the show.

Homemade Fudge

Dashing through the mall
With groceries yet to buy,
Lessons, work & housecleaning.
Life’s so crazy! Why?

Bells on our telephone ring.
The machine will take the call.
We have no time for family or friends.
It drives us up the wall.

How are you? How’s your life?
We really want to know.
Hope you’re ready for Christmas.
We’re doubtful we’ll see snow.

A day or two ago,
We thought we’d make a treat.
For all our special friends ~
A Christmas gift to eat!

Our intentions were top notch.
But our schedules would not budge.
Hence, here’s this years version of
Homemade Christmas Fudge!!

Now, please tell me when you were reading that above that you were not singing along. If you didn't sing, please go back and read it. That's half the fun!

Merry Christmas!

Snowman Soup

My first Craft show of the season is NEXT SATURDAY in Monmouth at the VFW Hall from 8:30-3pm!!! OMGoodness I hope I get everything done in time. I do have a few items done, and I'd love to show you one today.

It's called Snowman Soup! I made these last year and really got hooked on putting candy canes in my cocoa. Talk about Mmmmmmmm!!! I've been a very good girl so far and I have not had any of my cocoa that I'm saving for the craft shows . . . . . . YET that is. . . give me a little bit of time. :o)

You can bet I'm going to be using my Big Shot on a lot of the projects, because it's awesome!!! Here I used my Top Note Bigz Die to top off the cello bag. The stamp set I used is Deer Friends, which is a level 2 hostess only stamp set. There is still time to earn this stamp set for FREE, so call or e-mail me today to schedule your workshop!

I also made a few in Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue. This time I used the Merry & Bright Stamp set.

And . . . since I didn't have a blog last year to share items with you I couldn't resit taking a minute to show you my 2007 Snowman Soup.

Thanks for stopping by! Check back tomorrow for some homemade fudge!!!
