Dying Accent and Elements Fleurettes

Hi Stampers,

First I'd like to remind you about the Mom and Me make and take class. It's scheduled for THIS Sunday starting at 2pm. Cost is $15.   (Please note you do not have to bring a child to attend this class.)

The next make and take class at The Well in Monmouth is Saturday, February 6th starting at 10am. Please RSVP by 2/4 so I have time to cut card stock! Cost for this make and take class is $20 and you stamp 8 cards and 4 12x12 scrapbook pages. We are going to be using a lot of the new Sale-a-bration products as well as items from the Occasions mini catalog, which includes Stampin' Up! new Clear-Mount Stamps!!!

**Card Club Information**

New card clubs are forming NOW and start the 2nd week of March. Space is limited to 10 in each club so RSVP today to save your spot. (Please note Tuesday club is almost full.)

Card clubs run for 10 months (March-December) so that each person gets to receive hostess benefits. Each month you purchase a minimum of $15 (retail) for yourself out of beautiful catalogs that you’ll receive from me FREE with your membership. If unable to attend due to vacation, illness or any reason, you are asked to call or e-mail me prior to the scheduled date, to place your order.

Each month you are able to attend you'll stamp 5 cards and at the end of the 10 months you will have made 50 fabulous cards, for free if you made it to each club meeting. You must attend card club to receive the cards. They are considered a bonus in addition to the hostess benefits you’ll receive as a club member. I ask that you don’t have another club member make them for you, because stamping more than one of each card always takes a little longer and I have found people are waiting on projects to be finished, which makes the night longer for all.

Members will be designated hostess-of-the month for one month. The hostess will bring simple snack to share "her" month and she will receive all of the hostess benefits that month. Including hostess only stamp sets and free merchandise!

If you have a friend or a family member you’d like to invite to join the Club with you, she will be warmly welcomed. Space is limited, so let me know as soon as possible.

Being part of a Card Club is a very nice way to make a NEW CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. And it’s fun too!!!

I almost forgot the most important part. . . the clubs will be held the 2nd Tuesday and 2nd Wednesday of each month starting at 6:30pm.

If you have any questions about club, or if you're ready to sign up give me a call (309) 221-9288 or send me an e-mail (georgia@mustainlaw.com).

I hope to hear from you soon!

Oh . . I almost forgot . . . for today's share I have a video for you to watch.

It's HERE. . . MDS Hardcover Photo Album!!!

Hi Stampers. . . . . . . IT'S HERE!!!

Yesterday morning the UPS guy brought me my 1st 8x8 Personalized Hardcover Photo Album I created and had professional printed by Stampin' Up! using My Digital Studio(MDS). My UPS guy never comes until afternoon so I decided to have it sent to my office, where the UPS guy is before 10am!!! :o)

For my first album I decided to do our family Christmas from 2008. Below you'll find a picture of the outside of photo album.

One of the things that I LOVE is that you can have a title printed on the spine of the book, so when it's on a bookshelf you can find it easy. However, I don't think this is going to make it to a bookshelf anytime soon. :o)
Ready to see the inside??? Using one of the designer templates I was able to whip the album out in very little time!

I know you're all wondering . . how much does it cost . . right? Cost for a hardcover 8x8 is $49.95; softcover is $29.95. You can also choose to have 5x5, 8-1/2 x 11, 11 x 8-1/2 and 12x12. Cost starts at $34.95 and goes up to $79.95 for hard albums and softcovers range from 424.95-39.95 for 5x5 up to 8-1/2 x 11. You must have a minimum of 22 pages in your album, but can have up to 100 at an additional cost.

When you have time make sure to check out my little MDS video below:

You can tell I don't do videos for a living. :o)

Remember for a limited time when you have a workshop with $400 in sales you can purchase the My Digital Studio software for 1/2 off. So instead of paying $79.95 you'll pay $39.98!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Final day of Convention 2009

Hi Stampers,

Well yesterday was the final day of the 2009 Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was SO much FUN, but I am ready to go home and sleep. :o) As I'm sure you can guess I didn't get much sleep while in Utah.

Yesterday was lots of fun! Nancy, one of the ladies in our group, got over to the convention center early to get a good place in line. Wendy and I joined her at 6:30 with our running shoes on. . . OK I didn't have running shoes on I had sandals. . . so . . . I took them off and put them into my bag. :o)

Below is a silly little video of me, and Wendy running to get seats. OK. . . this is crazy. . . when they open the doors people really run for the front row seats, and we were lucky enough to get 1st and 2nd row seats for our group.

It was great watching the person instead of the big screen for a change. :o) And if I go again next year I look forward to running again. :o)

Tomorrow I would like to get back to showing you card samples. I have a ton of swaps to go through and take pictures of. If you would like to see some of the swaps in person there is still time to register for Saturday's Stamp Fair. . . Click HERE for the details! For today's "sample" I'd like to share a few pictures of my final day at the Stampin' Up! convention.

Remember you can click on slide shows to make them larger!

Convention Day #1

Hi Ladies,

Happy FRIDAY!!! I am writing this message to you today as I sit in bed. I just got back a little while ago from awards/entertainment night, so it is being posted at real time. :o)

Today was day one of convention and it was so much fun!!! I learned a lot about the digital scrapbooking and even saw a demonstration using the software, My Digital Studio! This software is for more than just scrapbooking!!! I saw some awesome things done and I can't wait to order it. We have not been given a release day yet, but should be within the next few months.

This program is fool proof, which is very exciting for me, because it's so user friendly! In the software you can stamp, punch and add embellishments!!! You can use one of the "pre made" pages or start with a clean canvas. If you do use one of the pages you are able to add, remove and even change everything about the page!

Once you purchase this software you can even get digital downloads . . . which means more images for you to choose from. I believe they said there was over 3000 images included before downloading anything . . . AND with this software you don't have to worry about "loosing your in colors" . . . once you have them you can use them forever!!! Meaning no more retiring in colors . . . at least as far as My Digial Studio goes. :o)

FYI - the in colors that just retired are on this software!!! I'm excited, because I was so sad to see Kiwi Kiss go. I can't wait to get my hands on it and create some photo books and scrapbook albums!!!

Beside the My Digital Studio Stampin' Up! focused on the new Build-a-bear line. In the mini catalog there are stamp sets and dies for the Big Shot. In the slide show below their are examples of both the My Digital Studio and Build-a-bear! Along with many more pictures I took today. BTW - the Mini Catalog starts September 1st, and if you are on my mailing list they will be in the mail from Stampin' Up! very soon.

As I'm sure you can guess I'm having a blast, and am getting very little sleep. Tomorrow (or today since it's after midnight) I need to UPS some items and mail some stuff home . . . I have purchased more than my suit case can carry. :o)

Have a GREAT Day!

OMGoodness!!! I almost forgot . . the Stamping with Georgia Convention SALE!!!

Convention Gifts!

Hi Stampers!

Yesterday while waiting for my flight in O'hare I met a bunch of nice demos. . . below is a picture of the ladies I had a chance to visit with.

I just LOVE what was in Kim Bolzenthal's carry on bag . . don't you??? It was full of cards to swap!!!

And here is Wendy my roomie working on her swaps. . . she has a wonderful video on how to use the eyelet punch at the airport without making a mess.
***

Well as you can tell I made it to Salt Lake City and below is the sign that was in the airport . . . what a welcoming!!!

While Wendy and I waited for our room Nancy showed us the swaps and projects she had already done/received. She arrived on Sunday and has been busy busy!!!

And here is a picture of Kathy & Nancy outside our hotel . . . the Welcome Stampin' Up! was nice.

Last night I was in a basket swap with 43 demonstrators. . . it was so much fun, but a very late night. . . after all I was stamping with the Late Night Stampers. :o) I got tons of wonderful card ideas to share with you . . . you'll be making some of these in up coming make and takes as well as in card club and I'm sure I'll be sharing some here too!

Today is Check in Day for Convention . . . shopping the memento mall, getting my new bag with convention stamp sets, picking up my award for having over $20K in sales (thanks to you my wonderful customers) and touring the home office in Riverton!!!! Lots going on . . . and I'm sure I don't have to tell you I'M EXCITED!!! :o)

For the sample today I'd like to share with you the little gift I made from my roommate Wendy and other Stampattic's members, Kathy & Nancy.

With the help of my mother (thanks mom) and her button machine I made each stamper a name button for their convention bag or to be used however they choose. They also got a post it note holder with the Stampin' Up! logo on the cover. For this I used covered coasters with DSP and then used my bind-it-all to attach the two coasters together. And of course a gift wouldn't be a gift without chocolate!!! (Peanut M&M's in a cello bag tied with the new In Color Polka-dot Ribbon!)

Below you can see where I put my button . . . I wanted to let other demos know I too was a SU demonstrator on my way to convention!!! And you know how they say to put something on your bag so that you know it's yours. . . I used the In Color Polka-dot ribbon!!! :o)

Besides giving gifts I got a gift too!!! Kathy, my upline, made us all bag tags. . . here is mine!!!

I just love to make post-it note holders and I'd love to give one away to YOU! Today I am offering some Blog Candy . . . to win this blog candy (picture shown below) all you need to do is post a comment on this post by Noon tomorrow. Besides a post-it note holder one lucky lady is also will get a tube of chapstick also shown below. . . Get Excited!!!

Click HERE for more information about the Stamp Fair. . . I really hope you can make it as I will have tons to share with you from convention.

OK . . . I know you've all been waiting for the Stamping with Georgia Convention Sale . . . Day 3!

Purchase at least 6 Ink Refills and receive 10% off your ink refill purchase! That makes each refill only $2.48!!! This is a GREAT way to get the new In Colors so that you can start stamping with shaving cream!!! Click HERE for a tutorial on how to use shaving cream on your card stock.

Please note that this special is not limited to just 6 refills . . . select as many as you want at 10% OFF. . . this includes classic and craft ink refills and will also save you more money when you buy them by the color family!

Diorama Card #2

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share with you the 2nd Diorama Card we made at The Well yesterday. Before I do, I would like to say THANK YOU to all of the wonderful ladies who stamped with me. It is nice to be able to get away for some stamp time.

I hope you all enjoyed the projects. . . don't worry we won't be stenciling any time soon on scrapbook pages. . . it was fun but it did take awhile. Especially for those of you who were making extra pages. Thanks for helping me out. Britni was one of the stampers who helped make extra pages. . . I'm guessing the little video below was either her 3rd or 4th page she stenciled. :o) (Thanks for letting me put this on my blog Britni!) :o)

OK . . now for the pictures:

If you would like to learn how to make your own Diorama Card click HERE for step by step directions. They are MUCH easier than they look.

BTW- check back tomorrow for details about my ***Stamping with Georgia Convention SALE***

Tomorrow is my travel day to Chicago and then Tuesday I fly out to Utah!!!
