My Digital Studio - Convention Scrapbook 2009

Hi Stampers,

Have I told you how excited I am about the new digital scrapbooking software, My Digital Studio? My copy came yesterday and using one of the "pre-made" albums I had time to do a 15 page album without getting any ink on my fingers and while I was sitting on the couch watching GAC on TV.

I love how you can add and remove the images/embellishments until you like the page. While my cover of the album needs work I'm very happy with the rest of my pages. I was thinking I need to keep the album simple, but now that I look at the other pages I've decided it needs embellished.

Starting October 1st you can purchase My Digital Studio for $79.95. If you host a workshop with $400 in sales than you get the software for 1/2 off. My calendar is getting full fast, so contact me before all of the best dates are gone.

I hope you enjoyed my album and I look forward to stamping with you soon!

Convention "Place Mat"

Hi Stampers!

Today I'd like to share with you a picture I took at Convention. This was one of the many projects other Stampin' Up! demonstrators sent to Stampin' Up!

If you look at the "place mat" you'll see it's just Designer Series Paper (DSP) rolled. I'm guessing that the DSP is attached to a base. . . maybe cardboard. If you want to make your own place mat you could even use the piece of cardboard that came in your package of DSP.

I have been very busy going through all of the pictures I took at convention. . . . I'm not sure how many pictures I took, but I have tons of GREAT ideas to use at upcoming events!

The next event I have scheduled is my 1st Saturday of the month Make and Take class at The Well in Monmouth. Saturday, September 5th starting at 10am. Cost is $20 and you'll stamp 8 cards and 4 12x12 scrapbook pages. Please RSVP by 9/4 so that I can cut supplies.

Happy Stamping!

p.s. My family is camping this weekend, so I'm thinking I'll be away from my computer ALL WEEKEND!!! If you need me you can reach me on my cell.

Final day of Convention 2009

Hi Stampers,

Well yesterday was the final day of the 2009 Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was SO much FUN, but I am ready to go home and sleep. :o) As I'm sure you can guess I didn't get much sleep while in Utah.

Yesterday was lots of fun! Nancy, one of the ladies in our group, got over to the convention center early to get a good place in line. Wendy and I joined her at 6:30 with our running shoes on. . . OK I didn't have running shoes on I had sandals. . . so . . . I took them off and put them into my bag. :o)

Below is a silly little video of me, and Wendy running to get seats. OK. . . this is crazy. . . when they open the doors people really run for the front row seats, and we were lucky enough to get 1st and 2nd row seats for our group.

It was great watching the person instead of the big screen for a change. :o) And if I go again next year I look forward to running again. :o)

Tomorrow I would like to get back to showing you card samples. I have a ton of swaps to go through and take pictures of. If you would like to see some of the swaps in person there is still time to register for Saturday's Stamp Fair. . . Click HERE for the details! For today's "sample" I'd like to share a few pictures of my final day at the Stampin' Up! convention.

Convention Day #2

Hi Stampers!

Yesterday was day 2 of convention and it was so much fun!!! One of the things they have been talking about at convention is getting back to the Workshop, which means having workshops. The past few months I have found myself having more clubs than workshops and this is something I would like to change. . . . SO . . . to change this I need your help! Would you like to have a party and earn exclusive Hostess Stamp Sets and FREE merchandise???

If you said yes, please call or e-mail me and we'll pick a date! :o)

Another thing Stampin' Up! has talked about at the convention is joining the Stampin' Up! family. . . while all in attendance were already Stampin' Up! demonstrators they talked about offering you, my friend and customers, the same opportunity to Love what you do and Share what you love!

I would like for you to think about how a little extra income could help you and/or your family. You might be looking for a way to help pay the power bill, make some extra money for a weekend fun or even look for a way to pay your son's monthly preschool bill. :o) All of these are something that your own Stampin' Up! business can help you do. . . . and if you're wondering about the preschool bill that's because Blake starts preschool in September. :o)

Right now Stampin' Up! has an awesome LIMITED time offer to join the Stampin' Up! family for only $85!!! That right. The $85 kit is an awesome way to join the Stampin' Up! family for a very low investment cost and at this low cost it will be very easy to earned your investment back quickly! Click HERE to see what comes in the $85 starter kit. Remember this starter kit (just like the standard $199 starter kit) is customizable.

Another thing I LOVE about Stampin' Up! is that you can set your own hours and you'll NEVER have to worry about being fired and/or laid off. The only requirement is to have a minimum $300 in sale a quarter to remain an active demonstrator!!! Talk about job security! :o)

Benefits of Becoming a Demonstrator: Whether you just love to stamp, or you want to grow a successful, thriving business, the Stampin' Up! opportunity is the right fit for you. Stampin' Up! demonstrators enjoy many benefits, with just a few listed below:

Product discount. Demonstrators get a 20 percent discount on all Stampin' Up! products, including stamp sets, paper, and accessories. It's a great way to support your love of stamping and paper crafting.

Extra income. You'll earn extra income based on your sales and recruiting--how much extra income is up to you. Maybe you just want enough income to pay the electric bill every month, or maybe your goal is bigger--the monthly payment for your new car--it's your decision! See the Compensation Table for more information.

Flexible schedule. This is your business, so you can put in as much (or as little) time as you'd like.

Support from Stampin' Up! We love our demonstrators and it shows through our demonstrator support materials, including a monthly magazine, workshop ideas, and audio and video trainings on all kinds of topics available on our Demonstrator Web Site.

So what are you waiting for? Contact your me TODAY to join the Stampin' Up! family! Click HERE to go to my Stampin' Up! website to learn more!

You can also click HERE for the top 10 reason to join Stampin' Up! Remember that this is for a Limited time only so contact me today so we can chat about any questions you may have.

As I'm sure you can guess I'm not having much computer time while I'm in Utah at the Stampin' Up! convention, so today's "share" is another slide show. . . I hope you enjoy it!

Convention Day #1

Hi Ladies,

Happy FRIDAY!!! I am writing this message to you today as I sit in bed. I just got back a little while ago from awards/entertainment night, so it is being posted at real time. :o)

Today was day one of convention and it was so much fun!!! I learned a lot about the digital scrapbooking and even saw a demonstration using the software, My Digital Studio! This software is for more than just scrapbooking!!! I saw some awesome things done and I can't wait to order it. We have not been given a release day yet, but should be within the next few months.

This program is fool proof, which is very exciting for me, because it's so user friendly! In the software you can stamp, punch and add embellishments!!! You can use one of the "pre made" pages or start with a clean canvas. If you do use one of the pages you are able to add, remove and even change everything about the page!

Once you purchase this software you can even get digital downloads . . . which means more images for you to choose from. I believe they said there was over 3000 images included before downloading anything . . . AND with this software you don't have to worry about "loosing your in colors" . . . once you have them you can use them forever!!! Meaning no more retiring in colors . . . at least as far as My Digial Studio goes. :o)

FYI - the in colors that just retired are on this software!!! I'm excited, because I was so sad to see Kiwi Kiss go. I can't wait to get my hands on it and create some photo books and scrapbook albums!!!

Beside the My Digital Studio Stampin' Up! focused on the new Build-a-bear line. In the mini catalog there are stamp sets and dies for the Big Shot. In the slide show below their are examples of both the My Digital Studio and Build-a-bear! Along with many more pictures I took today. BTW - the Mini Catalog starts September 1st, and if you are on my mailing list they will be in the mail from Stampin' Up! very soon.

As I'm sure you can guess I'm having a blast, and am getting very little sleep. Tomorrow (or today since it's after midnight) I need to UPS some items and mail some stuff home . . . I have purchased more than my suit case can carry. :o)

Have a GREAT Day!

OMGoodness!!! I almost forgot . . the Stamping with Georgia Convention SALE!!!

And of course a gift wouldn't be a gift without chocolate!!! (Peanut M&M's in a cello bag tied with the new In Color Polka-dot Ribbon!)

Below you can see where I put my button . . . I wanted to let other demos know I too was a SU demonstrator on my way to convention!!! And you know how they say to put something on your bag so that you know it's yours. . . I used the In Color Polka-dot ribbon!!! :o)

Besides giving gifts I got a gift too!!! Kathy, my upline, made us all bag tags. . . here is mine!!!
