Today is going to be a very fun day. I go in for an ultrasound this afternoon and Rocky and Blake are going to go with me. :o) I am also so very excited to share with you the Baby Bag I made using my Big Shot and Scallop Square Bigz Die. Since we are not going to find out if we are having a boy or a girl I went with neutral colors. However, JoAnn's did have some very cute boy and girl nursery prints that I thought very hard about getting and just making two bags. . . I still might, because the fabric is 1/2 off this week. :o)
For this bag it took LOTS of scallop squares. . . would you like to see how many squares it took?
And with all of those scallop squares came a lot of batting for the inside. . . looks like about 12 inches of batting. :o)
After I had the fabric and batting cut out I stitched an X in each one. Then stitched the scallop squares together to make my bag. The next step for me was to make a ruffle for the top of the bag. I used LOTS of pins to hold the fabric in place while I stitched.
Then after doing my handles and liner I had a finished bag. . . . are you ready to see the finished project???
I just LOVE how it turned out. . . don't you?
If you have any questions, please ask!!!
Thanks for stopping by today!

BTW - Just a reminder that card clubs start NEXT WEEK! Let me know if you'd like a spot in the Tuesday or Wednesday group.
