As soon as I pick a couple of dates I'll let you know!

Christmas Cards Anyone?

Hi Stampers,

I have been very busy working on Christmas cards and I'm excited to share some with you today!  In the past years I have used the Simply Sent Scrapbook Kit to make the cards. . . I didn't think the Christmas Kit would work this year, so for the first time we are doing them using the Jolly & Holly Colored Christmas Rub-ons from the catalog as well as the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper!

Here's a picture of the Jolly & Holly Colored Rub-Ons.

I'm very excited about using the rub-ons this year and having you use them too!  Here are a couple of the cards we will be creating.

Besides the rub-ons we will be using 1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon and Basic Rhinestones to add a little something here and there!

I don't have all of the details figured out yet and picking a date is the hardest thing this year.  Blake has soccer every Saturday in October, and I have a craft show the first 3 Saturday's in November. . . I'm thinking about offering this class during the day at my home on Thursday, November 11th, which is also Veterans Day starting at 9am.  Does that work for you, or would a Friday or Saturday night work better?

Leave me a comment, or send me an e-mail and let me know which time works best for you!

Thanks for stopping by and stop back tomorrow for more samples.

Come to Bethlehem

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share with you a card I received in the Christmas Card Swap I was in.  This card uses the stamp set Come to Bethlehem.  For ease and efficiency she used one large block to fit both image and sentiment!  I just love this card and the colors she picked is awesome.

Ink: Not Quite Navy and VersaMark
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Brushed Silver and Whisper White
Accessories: Heat Tool; Silver Embossing Powder; Circle Scissor Plus; Big Shot; Elegant Lines Embossing Folder and Basic Pearls.  For the label she used the Matchbox Die, but suggested using the New Decorative Label Punch.

If you have any questions, please ask!

Thanks for stopping by!

Build-a-Bear Tins

Hi Stampers,

So the past couple of weeks I have been working on projects for the Fall Craft Shows.  Last night I got around to my Build-a-bear tins that have been on my list to make.  This is my version of "paper dolls" and would be great to take with an play in the car.  While I'm not 100% done with this project I'd like to share what I have with you.

The picture above is the outside of the tin with the Christmas outfit on.  The picture below shows some of the outfits I have done for the tin.  I'm thinking she needs a purse and shoes!!!

Let me know if you have any questions, and Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stamping!

Bonnie's Halloween Card

Hi Stampers,

So last night Rocky and I took Blake and Callie Ann to Woodhull to visit his sister and see new baby, Mattoxx.  He slept the whole time and I didn't get to hold him, but we still got a photo with all 4 cousins. While there Stacey (Rocky's mom) gave the kids each a Halloween bag with a gift inside.  Blake and Makenna got pillow cases, and Callie Ann and Mattoxx received Halloween shirts.

I can't believe Halloween is right around the corner, so today I'm excited to share with you another Halloween card created by Bonnie Alexander.  Bonnie was kind enough to share this card with the StampAttic's at the last meeting.

I'm excited to see samples with the Owl punch as I haven't even tried mine yet.  Here's Bonnie's card.

Maybe this weekend I'll have a chance to try mine out.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back Monday to visit more!

And here's a picture of me with Mattoxx!

Halloween Samples

Hi Stampers,

Today is a very exciting day as my Sister-in-law goes in at 6 AM to have a baby.  Last time they induced her 3 weeks early and it took 3 days to have a baby. . . this time she is only 1 week early, so we hope it comes on the first day.  :o)  I can't wait to find out if it's a girl or a boy.

Until the baby news comes I wanted to share a couple of Halloween samples with you.  These pictures were taken at the last StampAttic's meeting and I'm not sure which demo brought them, but I wanted to say thanks for sharing anyway!  Updated 09/23/10 4pm: These card were created by Bonnie Alexander. . . thanks for bringing these wonderful samples to share with us Bonnie! I just got the bat punch and have not had a chance to use it yet.

I'm really loving the spider web embossing folder. . . aren't you?

Notebook for Mattoxx

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share the notebook I made for Mattoxx. . . .  Are you wondering who or what a Mattoxx is?  Well Mattoxx is my new niece or nephew to be.  Rocky's sister is going in tomorrow to be induced, and I wanted to give her a notebook she could used to record gifts.  I had forgot that I made a notebook for Makenna (my niece) until I saw it at her 4th b-day party last month.  Kiri uses it for each b-day, so I just knew I needed to make one for #2 too!

Since we don't know if it's for a boy or girl I didn't go really boy or girly on this project.  I used some retired DSP and Ribbon I had on hand and a retired baby stamp set I've been saving.

The letters were cut out using my Big Shot!

Thanks for stopping by and let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Stampers,

First I'd like to start out saying Wednesday card club orders are HERE!!! :o)  Also I've decided to back my blogging off a couple of days and take the weekends off.  I hope you understand . . . just looking for a little more family time.

Today I'd like to share with you the final card we made at club this month and I'll keep the post short and sweet! :o)  I wanted to have a simple card for the ladies to stamp.

The edges were done with a sponge.

Under the Stars

Hi Stampers,

First I'd like to say thank you to those who left a comment on my blog yesterday.  I'm glad to hear people are looking. :o)

Today I'd like to share with you the cover of a photo album, which I made for Blake.  At school this week Blake is camping.  All of the children were invited to bring in their tents, sleeping bags and many other camping items including pictures of their family camping.

Of course I couldn't just send a couple of pictures in a plain album I had to dress up the outside of it.

For this task I used the Under the Stars stamp set and also a retired alphabet set.

And here's a picture of Blake at school.

He was helping glue "fire" onto the "logs".

Thanks for stopping by today!

Blogging...

Hi Stampers,

I've been thinking about my blog and wondering how many people actually access it daily. A few days ago I asked for comments on my Rag Quilt Purses and didn't receive any. While I know everyone has very busy lives that also got me thinking am I doing all of the blog work for nothing?

With a new baby at home I find my time is being stretched. . . so I'd like to know. . . do you visit my blog daily, every other day, once a week, or how often

I'd love to hear from customers and demos alike, so leave me a comment!

Elegant Lines Embossing Folder

Hi Stampers,

I don't know about you, but I am loving the embossing folders.  Today's card is so very simple and quick.

Before I share that with you did you know you can check out my blog online via your Wii?  Last night I downloaded some channels for our Wii and the internet Channel was one of them.  Of course the first page I had to visit with my blog! :o)

Ok onto stamping.  As I mention before today's card is very simple.

I just LOVE this new Elegant Lines embossing folder. . . don't you!

Under the Stars

Hi Stampers,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Ours was packed full of fun.  To start Friday night Rocky and Blake spent the night at the lake camping.  Saturday morning Callie Ann and I went to a baby shower and then we had Blake's 1st soccer game.  After that we went back to the lake for a weekend of camping!  We had wonderful weather.

Since we were camping I want to share with you a spinner card club members are making this month.  It uses the stamp set, Under the Stars.  Even though the weather has been colder there was still plenty of bugs.  I should borrow the bear's spray.  :o)

Don't you love the pink and green?  That's a color combo the Color Coach told me to put together.

Have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Pink & Brown Rag Quilt Purses

Hi Stampers,

Today I need you help. . . as you know I have been working on Rag Quilt Purses to sell.  I made the cutest pink and brown one and I'm trying to decide if I want to put a button on the inside and out so that people can have a reversible option on all my purses.  Look at the pictures below and let me know if you like the reversible option, or if you like the original style the best and then e-mail me or leave a comment.

First below you'll find a picture of both purses.

Now a close up of the Original Style.

And now the reversible option.

So what do you think???

Thanks in advance for your help and I look forward to getting your comments!

Clear Block Storage Caddy

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share with you the Clear Block Storage Caddy (120279 Price: $16.95) again.  You can see the inside of the caddy HERE.

This compact storage caddy holds one of each size of our clear-mount blocks. The foam insert securely holds the blocks in place; an additional foam insert sits between the blocks to protect them when the caddy is closed.

We've talked about the caddy before, but today I'd like to share with you what you can do to the outside of the caddy!

Decorate it!!!  Using my Big Shot and the Decor Element Sheets I had a little fun with my caddy.

And here is another sample.  This caddy was done by Lori and brought to our StampAttic's meeting last night.

If you'd like to decorate your caddy you'll want to check out the Definitely Decorative catalog.

Remember you can shop 24/7 @ http://www.georgiacaulkins.stampinup.net/

BAB Christmas Card

Hi Stampers,

I am very excited about today, because tonight is the StampAttic's meeting.  At each meeting we have a swap, and I LOVE to participate in it.  I always receive so many wonderful cards and can't wait to see them.  The swap this time is Christmas Cards, and the past couple of days I have been cutting like crazy, because I was silly and designed a card that took many steps.

So . . . . here's my card I am swapping. . . what do you think?

For this card I used the new stamp set, Season of Hugs, from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the Beary Best Friends stamp set.

The Real Red card stock was embossed using the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder and I also used Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper, Old Olive card stock and Whisper White card stock.

Other items used are: Real Red Classic Ink Pad, Assorated Markers, 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin Dimensionals and Basic Pearls.

I had so much fun making these cards, but I'm not sure I am ready to cut out enough to make 20 more right now.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for stopping by.

Punch Art

Hi Stampers,

Happy Monday to you!  Today is going to be a great day, because it's the last day of our long weekend.  Yesterday we spent the day at the Caulkins Family reunion and the weather was wonderful!  We got home around 5:30ish and Blake helped me make supper.  After supper was over I worked on my Christmas card for the StampAttic's swap.  I am almost done with them all I have to do is assemble the cards, which is good since the meeting is tomorrow night!

In a few hours we have an appt to get family pictures taken with my dad and sister.  Last week was my dad's birthday and his request this year was to have a family picture taken.  I'm going to have the photographer snap a few shots of just the four of us too!  You can bet I'll have samples to share with you using My Digital Studio when the pictures come back.

I do have lot of stamping to share with you, but I haven't taken any pictures yet. . . so the samples today comes from the last StampAttic's meeting which was held this Spring.  Enjoy the "Punch Art".

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

MDS ~ Callie Ann's 3 Month - Part Two

Hi Stampers,

As I mention yesterday today I'd like to share with you another picture I made using My Digital Stuido and Callie Ann's 3 month pictures.  It was so easy to create and I can't wait to get it printed off.

Don't you just love how there is a shadow behind the flower.  I think that adds to the project.

Short post today  . . . .I've been very busy between getting ready for Card Club (Wednesday is this week), preparing my Christmas Card for the Demonstrator Swap and making 12 purses for the craft shows.  I'm almost done and can't wait to share a picture with you. . . maybe tomorrow!

MDS ~ Callie Ann 3 months

Hi Stampers and Happy Saturday!!!

Yesterday, I took Callie Ann to get her 3 month pictures taken.  They were so cute and it was very hard to choose from all of the pictures they took.  I ended up getting a picture packet which also gave me a CD of all of the pictures from the session and the rights to reprint/reuse them as I want.

Of course the first thing I thought of was My Digital Studio. They had a specialty collage made up and I really wanted it, but I didn't want to spend the extra $60 to get it, so I made my own using the My Digital Studio software.

What do you think???  I can't wait to have it printed and put into a frame.  Isn't Callie Ann so cute!!!

Tomorrow I have another picture to share with you I made using My Digital Studio . . .make sure to check back and see more pictures of Callie Ann.

Thanks for stopping by!

Purses . . .Purses and more Purses!!!

Hi Stampers,

Well the sewing machine has been going a lot the past couple of days as I crack down to work on some Rag Quilt Purses for the upcoming craft shows this fall.  However, that means I have not had much time to stamp.  That will be changing soon, as the Wednesday card club is next week!!!

Today I would like to share a couple of pictures with you of all the hard work I have been doing.

Here is a purse already to be put together.

What do you think of the fabric??? I'm loving the pink!

And here's a picture of my hard work . . . almost done.  There is 12 shown below. Can you tell I'm on a brown kick right now?  I'm thinking Fall. :o)

If you are interested in buying one of my Rag Quilt Purses you don't have to wait for a craft show.  I have 10 done and 12 almost ready. . . I just need to add handles, closing strap, buttons, the flowers and snip all edges.  WOW now that I typed that it does sound like I have a lot left to do, but it will go fast and I hope to get most, if not all, done this weekend.

My goal for today before I go to bed is to have all of the handles and closing straps on, which means I'll be up late again tonight. I love working after everyone goes to bed.  I can get so much done.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.

Spider Web/Build-a-Bear Card

Hi Stampers,

Today is the first day you can order from the Holiday Mini Catalog. . . Get Excited!!!  If you did not get a copy of the mini in the mail, please let me know.  You can also view the holiday mini HERE, or you can click on the Holiday Mini picture in the side bar.

Also if you like to recreate something you've seen in the catalog and you are not sure what they used just click the supply list under the Stampin' Up! links on the left side of my blog.  Not only is the Holiday Mini Catalog listed, but current and past catalogs are also listed there.

Today I'd like to share with you a card I made using a couple of things from the mini.  This card uses the NEW Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Spider Web and the NEW Season of Hugs stamp set that was designed to go with the Build-a-bear line.

Isn't she cute!!!  I used my markers to color in the bear and I also used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the hat and treat bag.  Also it's hard to see black on black, but if you look at the top of the card you'll notice 1/4" Basic Black Grosgrain Ribbon.

Card Club members - you might be making this card . . . what do you think?
