My Digital Studio - Video!!!

My Digital Studio!

Hi Stampers,

Tomorrow is the first day you can order the My Digital Studio (MDS) software, so today I want to tell you more about MDS.

MDS is a Digital Paper-Crafting Solution often people referrer to it as a Digital Scrapbooking program, but it is really so much more than that! You can also create Cards, Calendars, DVD & Movies and you can use it to design cards before you actually get your inks out!

Often people (including me) like to save our resources so we don't experiment as much as we like to. With MDS you can design a card or scrapbook page using your card stock, designer paper, ribbon & other embellishments without using up your resources!!! Then once you decided you like the design you can pull out your stamp supplies and make the card/project or even choose to have it professional printed!

My Digital Studio Features and Benefits

Exclusive Stampin' Up! Content

•Stampin' Up! artwork and accessories available in a digital format.
•Stampin' Up! colors allow for perfect coordination when embellishing professional print projects with traditional embellishments. Add depth and dimension when you combine digital with handcrafted.
•With My Digital Studio, your favorite images and colors need not retire--you can keep using them for years to come!

Software

•My Digital Studio starts with nearly 2,000 unique elements--stamps, embellishments, templates, kits, punches, Designer Series papers, card stock, borders, and more.
•Intuitive design for easy navigation and project creation.
•Plenty to do for more advanced users including
◦Customizable stamps and embellishments
◦Photo, background, accent, and page editing
◦Multimedia features including music, videos, and links
•Automatic photo fill for effortless design.
•The program is stored on your computer, not on the web, so you can take it with you.
•PC and Mac compatible.
•Training and quick start materials available to help you learn more.
•Use My Digital Studio as a design tool--create projects digitally before crafting it in paper, or create flyers to print or e-mail.

Digital Downloads

•Download new embellishments, stamps, kits, and templates to My Digital Studio on a regular basis. Digital downloads are also compatible with other design tools.
•Digital downloads feature exclusive Stampin' Up! artwork and colors.
•Embellishments are true to size, making it easier to combine digital projects with paper crafting.

Print

•Professional print service available--print your photo albums, calendars, cards, and individual pages.
•Stampin' Up!'s professional print services ensure that printed colors match with our paper products. Because personal printers and other print services use different settings, their prints may not match Stampin' Up!'s exclusive colors within acceptable tolerances. Stampin' Up! has worked to make sure that our professional print services match our colors perfectly!
•Don't limit yourself to print projects! You can also create digital projects like DVDs, interactive albums, and e-cards.
•With My Digital Studio, you can print your projects from your home printer (depending on your printer's settings, printed colors may not match Stampin' Up!'s exclusive colors).
•Stampin' Up!'s professional print services use only the highest quality products--papers, album covers (linen, leather, and photo covers).
•My Digital Studio is competitively priced at $79.95.

Here are a couple of samples I pulled from the SU demo website.

The first one is a scrapbook page:

The next is a Kindness 6X6 card

Stamps: Big Bold Birthday digital set, Heard from the Heart digital set, Schoolbook Serif Numbers digital set, Upsy Daisy

Halloween Treat!

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share with you a Halloween Treat that I got at convention. I swaped a 3D project with Laura Leuenberger and this is the cute little treat I got. I'm so proud that this still has the chocolate in it although Blake almost got it opened the other night.

For the topper Laura used Old Olive card stock and Cast A Spell Designer Series Paper. The stamped image is from Halloween Hoot and it's finished with a Cello Bag and Old Olive 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon.

I just love the new Build-a-Bear line . . . don't you?

There was so much for him to do and of course we got to ride on Thomas the Train, well in one of his coaches.

You can bet I've been busy scrapbooking with My Digital Studio since I took around 60 pictures in the 3 hours we were there. :o)

Today I'd love to share a few pages with you! Let me know what you think and make sure to check out yesterday's post to see how you can win some "blog candy".

A Christmas Wreath!

Hi Stampers and Happy Monday!

I am super excited about today's post. . . at convention Carrie Cudney showed us how to make an awesome wreath out of Designer Series Paper (DSP). . . Carrie used the new DSP Merry Moments.

As soon as I found a floral wreath (for a good price) I knew I wanted to make one of my own. I used the Holiday DSP I had on hand from last year. . . it looks so cute hanging on my door. . . since it is only September I didn't keep it up there long. . . just long enough for a picture. :o)

I have ordered Merry Moments DSP and plan on doing another wreath when that comes in. . . so it will look more like Carrie's wreath, which is shown below.

So . . what do you think??? Would you like to make a wreath too??? Well you're in luck. I'm going to have a wreath class where you make this wreath and a fall wreath similar to the one shown on page 92 of the catalog. While I haven't picked a date yet let me know if you'd like to join me.

Thanks for stopping by!
Georgia

p.s. You'll notice above I said I will be making another wreath when my new DSP arrives. . . . Are you asking yourself what am I going to do with my other one???

WELL . . I think it would make perfect blog candy . . how about you??? One lucky stamper will win my wreath (shown in picture 1 of this post) . . . to be in the drawing all you need to do is leave me a comment on this post by 5pm on Wednesday (9/23) and tell me what your favorite stamping technique is.
Make sure to check back Thursday AM to see if your post was selected in the drawing! Good Luck!

Convention M&T - 3x3 cards

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share a convention make and take project, which uses the stamp set, Things I love.

This set is so fun, because you can pick Shopping, Chocolate or Shoes! If you know me you'll know I love both Shopping and Chocolate, but don't get to many pairs of shoes.

For this project we stamped all 3 cards with envelopes and then you put them inside a cello bag and top with the Things I love topper. . . then you have a perfect gift to give out. :o)

Thanks for stopping by!

Well Make and Take Projects

Hi Stampers,

In just 2 short weeks it will be time to gather at The Well in Monmouth and stamp cards and scrapbook pages. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 3rd at 10am!
If you'd like to register for this class, please call or e-mail me by 10/1 so I have time to cut supplies! Cost for this event is $20 and you'll be stamping 8 cards (2 of 4 designs) and 4 12x12 scrapbook pages.

Today I'd like to share with you 2 of the card you will be making. Since it will be October I wanted to make 1 Halloween card . . . . Isn't it cute!

But then I was thinking maybe you didn't need any more Halloween cards, so I decided to use another stamp set too. I will have both stamp sets at the make and take, so you can choose what you need.

The next card is a birthday card . . I just love this stamp set . . . I've had it for a few months and this is the first card I've got to make. . . what do you think?

More pictures will follow as I get them designed, but I can tell you the other two designs will be Christmas Cards!!! Get Excited!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!

Wedding Digital Scrapbook

Hi Stampers,

As promised today I'd like to share a few scrapbook pages from my wedding. . . since the wedding was over 7 years ago I didn't have a very good digital camera at the time, and didn't get ANY digital photos (gasp!)

However, I did find a very few photos scanned and saved on my computer in jpeg form. Of course I couldn't leave them in just little jpegs, so I turned them into scrapbook pages.

Our wedding colors were purple, white and silver. Yes I just said purple and not a Stampin' Up! color. . . this is because I got married prior to every even hearing about Stampin' Up! (GASP!!!)

If I could do it over again, I'm sure I would have stamped all of my invites and thank yous! If a wedding is in your future I'd love to help design your invites just let me know.

These 3 scrapbook pages are digital (of course) and they are 8-1/2 x 11 size.

I used many of the stamp sets from My Digital Studio!

Do you like the silver brads??? I placed each one in the scallop myself! Talk about fun lining them up. No really it wasn't hard to do at all.

ALSO . . . can you tell that the bottom of the page above is Whisper White card stock? I wasn't really thinking that my blog background would be white and wash my card stock away, but I'm sure you still get the idea. The page stop about 1/4" below the picture.

So what do you think?

Remember, My Digital Studio, goes LIVE 10/1 and with a $400 show between then and November 30th you can purchase the software 1/2 off making it only $39.98! Get Excited!!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend. We have big plans this weekend, which includes a Day out with Thomas the Train!

Happy Stamping!

Halloween Page 12x12 Scrapbook Page

Hi Stampers,

I am really for Halloween this year. . . while I don't have any directions out I'm thinking they'll come out next week. Blake is so excited this year. . . as you know he's 3 and full of lots of energy. A couple weeks ago we got his outfit and he has been asking to try it on again and again. He is going to be the cutest little monkey. We just found out that our niece Makenna is going to be a monkey too. Got to love the Old Navy store. :o)

Last year we got their outfits at Old Navy too and today I'd like to share with you a scrapbook page I made using a couple of pictures from Boo at the Zoo. I am disappointed to find out they will not be having Boo at the Zoo this year.

Thanks for stopping by, and remember you can get your own copy of My Digital Studio 1/2 OFF by hosting a workshop with $400 in sales. This promotion runs from October 1 to November 30th!

Blake's 3rd B-day

Hi Stampers,

Today is 9/11. . . . I can't believe so much time has passed since the tragedy of 2001. I remember where I was and what I was doing when I got the news. . . this is going to be a very hard day for many people, so make sure to send up a quick prayer. Thanks!

If you checked in yesterday you know I got the My Digital Software on Wednesday. . . . well yesterday I had time to create my second album. This time it's of Blake's 3rd birthday. I can't wait to get these pages professional printed and into an album.

I know there are a few of you who check my blog on your phone ( . . well at least one. . . Hi Jessica!) and can't see my slide shows. While I don't want to post all 12 pages here I would like to share a couple of them with you and then next time you're at the house I can share the whole album with you.

This first page will be the album cover when I have the scrapbook professional printed and bounded as a 8x8 book.

Thanks for stopping by today. Our family is off to St. Louis for the weekend, so if you send me an e-mail I might not get back to you until Monday. It's hard to sneak in some good family time. :o)

Have a GREAT weekend!

My Digital Studio - - Banner???

Hi Stampers,

Did you notice my new blog header today? What do you think? It was created using our new My Digital Studio. What you can do with this digital software is pretty amazing! I can hardly wait to see what I can come up with!

My Digital Studio - Convention Scrapbook 2009

Hi Stampers,

Have I told you how excited I am about the new digital scrapbooking software, My Digital Studio? My copy came yesterday and using one of the "pre-made" albums I had time to do a 15 page album without getting any ink on my fingers and while I was sitting on the couch watching GAC on TV.

I love how you can add and remove the images/embellishments until you like the page. While my cover of the album needs work I'm very happy with the rest of my pages. I was thinking I need to keep the album simple, but now that I look at the other pages I've decided it needs embellished.

Starting October 1st you can purchase My Digital Studio for $79.95. If you host a workshop with $400 in sales than you get the software for 1/2 off. My calendar is getting full fast, so contact me before all of the best dates are gone.

I hope you enjoyed my album and I look forward to stamping with you soon!

Medallion Background Stamp

Hi Stampers,

Happy 09/09/09!!! Today I'd like to share with you a card I made using the new Medallion Background stamp. At convention they told us that this is the #1 selling stamp in the catalog. I can't wait to play more with it.

For now I just have a card to share with you, but I plan on doing lots more!!! Besides the Medallion Background stamp I used the All Holiday Stamp set on this card.

Around the edge of the card stock I used the Platinum Shimmer Paint, which can be found on page 27 of the mini catalog. You can make any paper look shimmery with the new shimmer paint. This acid-free paint is perfect for porous surfaces such as paper, fabric and wood. You can apply it to a stamp using a sponge dauber to create frosted stamped images. Or you can use a stamping sponge and rub in on that card stock, which is what I did in the sample!

Twick or Tweet

Hi Stampers,

People in my house (mainly Blake) are really thinking Halloween. . . yesterday Rocky and I took Blake to the Zoo and then we went shopping where we purchased Blake's Halloween costume. He is going to make a very cute Monkey!

Since we have been thinking Halloween, I wanted to make a Halloween card to share with you. It uses the stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog Twick or Tweet and Haunting Hill Jumbo Wheel. It also uses the Level 1 Hostess Only stamp set, Holiday Best!

The Whisper White Ribbon kinda blends in this photo, so make sure to look close. . . and I'm sure you can guess I used the Top Note Die. . . Have I told you how much I LOVE my BIG SHOT???

Does this card look familiar like you've seen it some place before??? We you just may have if you've looked at your Holiday Mini yet as I cased it from page 10.

Now before I go today I wanted to share a few pictures from the zoo. . . Enjoy! :o)

Baroque Motifs

Hi Stampers,

I hope you all are enjoying your long holiday weekend. . . yesterday we had the Caulkins Family Reunion and today we decided to take Blake to the Zoo. . . . as you can guess I haven't had anytime for "fun" stamping, so I'd like to share with you a couple of pictures of cards I took at convention.

These cards all use the stamp set Baroque Motifs (113490 Price: $27.95)

The elegant flowers and swirls in the Baroque Motifs set makes it an ideal choice to create projects for weddings, springtime celebrations, and tokens of friendship.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful Monday!
