A Christmas Wreath!

Hi Stampers and Happy Monday!

I am super excited about today's post. . . at convention Carrie Cudney showed us how to make an awesome wreath out of Designer Series Paper (DSP). . . Carrie used the new DSP Merry Moments.

As soon as I found a floral wreath (for a good price) I knew I wanted to make one of my own. I used the Holiday DSP I had on hand from last year. . . it looks so cute hanging on my door. . . since it is only September I didn't keep it up there long. . . just long enough for a picture. :o)

I have ordered Merry Moments DSP and plan on doing another wreath when that comes in. . . so it will look more like Carrie's wreath, which is shown below.

So . . what do you think??? Would you like to make a wreath too??? Well you're in luck. I'm going to have a wreath class where you make this wreath and a fall wreath similar to the one shown on page 92 of the catalog. While I haven't picked a date yet let me know if you'd like to join me.

Thanks for stopping by!
Georgia

p.s. You'll notice above I said I will be making another wreath when my new DSP arrives. . . . Are you asking yourself what am I going to do with my other one???

WELL . . I think it would make perfect blog candy . . how about you??? One lucky stamper will win my wreath (shown in picture 1 of this post) . . . to be in the drawing all you need to do is leave me a comment on this post by 5pm on Wednesday (9/23) and tell me what your favorite stamping technique is.
Make sure to check back Thursday AM to see if your post was selected in the drawing! Good Luck!

Hmmm I don't know if I can choose ... I would have to say the embossing is really cool.

It is hard to choose when so many come to mind but I like the shaving cream and reinker to make such beautiful backgroundsI love trying new colors together and its a way to use your reinker!

Those are cool wreaths! I like the technique using several layers of UTEE (I think it's called), putting it in the freezer then cracking it, rubbing ink over it and wiping it off with a paper towel. It looks so great!

Very cool wreath! I think my favorite technique is probably either the bleaching technique or tearing technique. The bleaching one is a new one that I just learned and I always do tearing so it was hard for me to pick just one.
