Pony Party

Hi Stampers,

Yesterday was such a fun day for me, but left little time to stamp.  I started the day by going to Preschool with Blake.  He had his Halloween Party. . . then after I took Blake to the sitters I spent my lunch hour cleaning my stamp room, so I'd be ready to do so serious work for the craft shows next month.   After working the afternoon away at my real job I was home for a short time before we went back to Preschool for Family Halloween Party this time.  When we got home from that it was bedtime for Blake and I got the Galesburg Card Club Orders sorted. . .  by then I was too tired to stamp, so I did my blog and went to bed. :o)

But I didn't want to leave you without a sample today, so I dug into the hundreds of pictures I took at covention this past year to share with you the cards below.  They used the stamp set Pony Party!

Thanks for stopping by today, and have a GREAT Halloween!

Wreaths, The Police & Treat Bags

Hi Stampers,

Did my title get your attention today??? Last night was my Fall/Christmas Wreath Class. I had 9 ladies over creating holiday decorations. If you've ever been to my house when there is an event you know that parking can be fun as we are only able to park on one side of the street. I had a few new guest over to the house and failed to mention that to them. Awhile after everyone was here creating away the door bell rang. . . I had no idea who it could be, and it was a police officer. He was very kind and requested a car to be moved from the wrong side of the street. However, he was gone before I thought about grabbing my camera and snapping a photo. :o)

The ladies were good sports and agreed to be photographed for my blog. . . Thanks Ladies!

I can't believe Halloween is on Saturday and today is Blake's Halloween party at Preschool, and I got to make the treat bags for his class!!! You can bet I was excited even if I was up until about 10:30 finishing them last night. When I signed up for treat bags I just knew I needed to use my Big Shot and Build-a-Bear Dies to create Pumpkins for the boys and Witches for the girls.

They are of course filled with treats for Blake and his friends at preschool. I sure hope the children their treats.
Have a WONDERFUL Day and THANKS for stopping by!

MDS . . inspired by Patty!

Hi Stampers,

I'm sure you all have blogs you check daily, or every other day . . . right? I do too. Beside the idea book and catalog blogs are where I find most of my inspiration. One blog that always gives me inspiration is Patty Bennett's blog. Like most of us Patty has been playing with her My Digital Studio (MDS) program. . . One of the projects she made I just new I wanted to CASE (copy and share everything). Since I too have the MDS software I got right to work.

With the busy season ahead of us I made fliers of my upcoming events to pass out at vendor shows as well as at clubs, workshops and make & take classes. MDS is going to be great to create fliers like this, and just Monday I watched the video on how to created DVD's with this software. . . I can't wait to give it a try.

I know it's small, so if you'd like me to e-mail you this so that you can see my upcoming events . . . please ask!

Thanks for stopping by!

Inspired by Nature

Hi Stampers,

When I used the stamp set Inspired by Nature it's usually a safe bet that they'll be flowers on the card. . . well at convention I snapped a picture of a card using the stamp set and it had no flowers on it. . . want to see???

Don't you just love how they used a punch to make "cat tails"? One of these days I'd like to get around to CASEing this card for my card club groups. . . and speaking of card clubs remember that TONIGHT is the final Alpha card club meeting. It's hard to believe that it's been 10 months already.

Thanks for stopping by!

Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share with you a card I made casing a card I got at convention in a swap. This card uses the Jumbo Wheel Bright Blessings and the Level once hostess set, Holidy Best.

The Bright Blessings Jumbo Stampin’ Around wheel coordinates perfectly with the Falling Leaves stamp set. Ideal for making borders, backgrounds, and embellishments for all your fall projects, this wheel is just what you need when you have to make a large quantity of cards quickly.

Hope you liked the card, and I hope card club members enjoy stamping it this month.

Dasher & Christmas Punch

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share with you a card I did at Jessica's workshop on Thursday night. It was so quick and simple to do.

First I cut a sheet of Garden Green card stock in 1/2 to get the base of my card. Then I ran a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock through my Big Shot with the Top Note Bigz Die. Next I stamped Dasher with Versamark and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. After attaching that to the Garden Green I tied Chocolate Chip ribbon around the card.

I finished the card by embossing one of the images from the Christmas Punch (Hostess ONLY) stamp set, punched it out with the wide oval punch and attached with a stampin' dimensional.

This would be a very easy card to mass produce for your Christmas cards this year.

If you have any questions, or to order supplies to make this card please call!

Happy Stamping!

Mint Treats

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share with you the Mint Treats I made for my Mom and Me class. They were so simple and quick to do. I love to make these for each holiday season.

All you need is a stamp set, ink pad and a couple of punches. Here I used the Batty For You (116576 Price: $23.95) stamp set. Basic Black ink pad, 1 3/4" Circle Punch and Scallop Circle Punch.

Sandwiched between two scallop circles is a mint candy. The Batty for You stamp set is a set of 8. Since I only shared with you 4 of them above I wanted to make sure to put a copy of the stamp set below for you to see all of the cute images it has to offer.

You can create crazy tags or accents for cards or scrapbook pages with the adorable images from the Batty for You set. This set also coordinates with the Batty wheel and our Ghostly Greetings Designer Series paper for a monstrously fun combination.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Pillow Box Die - Bucket

Hi Stampers,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Yesterday I had the day off and had a wonderful day at home with Blake. We had a fun day of cartoons, Wii, play doh, lincoln logs, bowling, baking and more. Making cut sugar cookies with a 3 year old was so much fun! Although we only made 2 dozen pumpkins, because the cookie dough kept getting ate. . . and it wasn't just by Blake. I love cookie dough. :o) I have lots I need to be stamping on, but it was nice to have a whole day with nothing else to do but focus on my son.

Since I didn't get anything stamped yesterday I'd like to share another swap I got in the 3D demo swap. Julia made this using the pillow box die. I've seen the tutorial on Splitcoast, but haven't tried it myself yet.

Thanks for the awesome swap Julia, and the motivation to get out my pillow box die and make my own bucket.

And thanks for stopping by!

White Décor Elements Sheets

Hi Stampers,

Yesterday I had fun with my Big Shot. My dad needed his DOT number and name put on the side of his semi and instead of him spending over $100 to have someone use their computer and cut him the vinyl letters I did it with my big shot.

I got out a package of the White Décor Elements Sheets (114335 Price: $12.95), my Big Shot and Alphabet and Numbers Bigs Dies and got cutting!

You can make Décor Elements by creating your own vinyl images using the Décor Elements sheets and your Big Shot.

■ Each package comes with two (2) 12" x 24" sheets of vinyl in specified color, along with two (2) 12" x 24" sheets of transfer tape

■ Instructions for use are included in the package

You can also get the "raw vinyl" in Chocolate Chip, Kraft and Dark Gray.

Want to see how it turned out??? First a picture of my Dad and the door where the letters were placed.
Now a closeup.

With all of the dies that comes with our Big Shot the possibilities are endless!

Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Sunday!

Anything but a Card Swap

Hi Stampers,

This past weekend I was in an anything but a card swap with some of my demo friends. I decided to do a Bag in a Box to swap with them and got some AWESOME swaps in return.

Today I'd like to share my swap with you. I found the directions to this on SplitCoastStampers.com. Just look under resources and you can find the directions too.

These would be perfect packages to stick a small gift in and give it away. I used the holiday Designer Series Paper a little Sticky Strip, Ribbon and Build-a-brads and they were done. I cranked out 8 of these in no time flat!

Thanks for stopping by today!
