Décor Elements Snowflakes

Hi Stampers,

**Before I forget I wanted to remind you that TODAY is the final day to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s online sale. . . you can shop online HERE!**

Today I'd like to share with you a couple of pictures of my Snowflakes made using the White Décor Elements Sheets (114335 Price: $12.95), my Big Shot and the Snowflake Bigz Die.  I had some extra sheets setting around and I just new I wanted to use them to make some snowflakes for my front windows.  Yesterday I actually had time to get them up and they look GREAT!  I'm thinking about adding a couple of more so I follow the 3/5/7 rule in decorating, but we'll see. :o)

First a picture of the snowflake before I pulled away the transfer sheet.  The transfer sheets make life so easy when working with Décor Elements.

And now a picture of my front windows.  They are easy to go up and also easy to remove, so when we get tired of snowflakes down they will come. :o)

Thanks for stopping by and if you live around Galesburg I hope you drive by to check out my snowflakes!  If you do, please let me know what you think!

Have a GREAT day!

Convention Christmas Cards ~ Part 3

Hi Stamper and HAPPY BLACK FRIDAY . . .

You can bet I got up really early this morning and am at the stores shopping!!!  I've been online and have had my Black Friday Ad list ready for a week.  We had my cousin stay the night last night so that Blake wouldn't wake up home alone. :o)

Since we're all getting in the Christmas Spirt I have five more Christmas cards to share with you that I saw at Convention.  I'm really sad that I don't think I'll be at convention this year. :o(  My baby is due May 30th, but my first child was 11 days late, so I'm guessing I'll have a June baby . . . since Convention is in July it's not looking to good for me next year. :o(  Maybe I'll get luck and be able to attend a Regional Event.

Remember if you'd like to place an order and share the shipping cost just e-mail me (georgia@mustainlaw.com) by Noon and I'll place the order when I get home.

Have a GREAT day!

Christmas Punch

Hi Stampers,

Sorry for the late post yesterday . . . I had it done, but hit save instead of publish, so it didn't get published until I went it to work on today's post. . . I guess that's what I get for staying up late. . . Wednesday night after card club was over I was up late working on Snowman Kisses for the craft show on Saturday.   Then I did my blog.  I'm pleased to report I got 20 Snowman Kisses done.

Today I'd like to share with you the 5th Christmas card club members stamped this week.  It too was simple and only used one stamp set, Christmas Punches.

Colors used were whisper White and Ballet Blue.  Accessories used were: Small Tag Punch, Tag Punch, Stampin' Dimensional and Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

If you would like to join one of my card clubs new clubs will start in March!  Send me an e-mail and I can add you to the list!

Have a GREAT day!

Season of Joy!

Hi Stampers,

I have another card club card to share with you today . . . it uses the stamp set, Season of Joy, and has a very simple layout.

You can't really tell in the picture but the Real Red Card Stock is torn at the bottom. . . I didn't want my website to cover up the Merry Christmas stamp, but when I moved it up it covered up the tear. . . sorry.

Did you notice how the ribbon matches the ink and card stock???  I love how Stampin' Up! uses there colors to create embellishments (like ribbon) to match the card stock and ink. . . don't you?

Thanks for stopping by, and if you're looking for something to do this weekend you can stop by the VFW in Monmouth on Saturday from 8:30-3pm . . there is a huge craft show, and I'll have my goodies set out for you to shop.

Have a GREAT day!

When using this stamp set the Stamp-a-ma-jig is a must so that you can get it all lined up.

Just a reminder Wednesday card club is TONIGHT!!!

A Cardinal Christmas

Hi Stampers,

Today's card was inspired by one of my downline members, Britni.  Britni had a card like this on her blog and I just new I had to CASE it for my card clubs. (Thanks Britni!)

The card uses the stamp set, A Cardinal Christmas.  Colors used are Real Red, Garden Green, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.

I just loved how this card turned out.  Before seeing Britni's card I always stamped the cardinal in Black and then using my markers colored it in. . . this was a much quicker way to go and I love the look.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to check back tomorrow for another Christmas Card!

Tuesday card club is TONIGHT!
Wednesday card club is Tomorrow!

Dasher!

Hi Stampers,

Today I'd like to share with you a card and club members get to stamp it this week.  It uses the stamp Dasher and a little gold embossing powder.

The base is Garden Green and the Chocolate Chip card stock was ran through the Big Shot with the Top Note Die.  I finished the card with a little Chocolate Chip ribbon.

This month club members are stamping all Christmas cards, so you can bet I'll have many Christmas cards to share with you.

Snowman Magnet

Hi Stampers and a Special Welcome to those ladies who stopped by my booth yesterday at the craft show in Alpha. I welcome you to look around and check out some of my back post. On the right side of the blog there are some categories to click on as well as the regular monthly archives. If your looking for something special try the search bar at the top of this page, or send me an e-mail (georgia@mustainlaw.com) and I'll help you find it.

Many of you went home with a cute little snowman magnet, which I'd like to show the rest of the blogging world today!

I used a retired stamp set, because I needed a small snowman to go inside of it and I didn't have any current snowmen.  When I was making these Blake was so cute when he asked me if the snow was real.

Thanks for stopping by today and make sure to check back tomorrow for more!

Alpha Craft Show!

Hi Stampers,

Just a reminder that today is the craft show in Alpha at the Alwood Grade School from 8am-2pm.  This is the 23rd year for this craft show.  Admission is $1 and goes to the Time for Tot Preschool in New Windsor.

I'm in the cafeteria . . just follow the More Crafter Signs off to the right when you enter the front doors . . . there are crafters in the hallway, in the gym and in the cafeteria

Last night my wonderful husband helped me carry in my stuff and even set up my tables. . . it was so nice to have the help!  I'd say Thanks Rocky, but he never checks my blog anyway. . . OK I have to say Thanks Rocky just incase he does stop by my blog. :o)

Would you like to see some pictures of the goodies I've been hard at work making??? The first picture is of my booth. . . I got two tables, and it worked out GREAT!  I only have a few items that I wasn't able to put on the tables.

Next up is Magic Reindeer Food.

Magnets

Indoor S'Mores Kits

Holiday Tic-Tac-Toe
(Travel Ed)

Post-it Note Stands

Of course I have lots more to share with you, but I didn't get pictures of everything.

Cute & Cuddly Card

Hi Stampers,

UPDATE 2pm: I just check the SU website and I'm unable to share with you the information I posted this AM.  Since I didn't attend to do anything wrong and to keep within the rules I have removed the portion of today's post that released information about the new products.  Check back on 12/1 when I can official release that information to you.

**Content removed to keep within Stampin' Up!'s regulations.***

And speaking of New Things. . . . SU isn't the only one with a new addition coming in 2010. . . . yes that's right Rocky and I will have a new addition of our own . . . May 30th is the due date, but if it's anything like our first child we will be well into June before the baby comes out. :o)

And since we're on the subject of babies I'd like to share a baby card today.  It uses the stamp set Cute & Cuddly and it's from the SU website, so I can't take credit for the creations.  I would have liked to have time to stamp a card to share with you, but with the craft show tomorrow there was just no time to fit that in.

Thanks for stopping by!

P.S.  Don't forget to stop by and see me tomorrow in Alpha, IL at the Alwood Grade School Craft Show. . . 8am-2pm!

Snowman Kisses

Hi Stampers,

I had a great day off yesterday with Blake.  He was a very big helper as I worked on items for the craft show.  One of the items we finished up yesterday was Snowman Kisses!  Would you like to see pictures?

For this project I used the retired stamp set Cold Play.  I just LOVE this set as I'm using it to make Indoor S'mores kits too!!!

Snowman Kisses would be a perfect stocking stuffer, so if you'd like to pick up a few of these make sure to stop by my booth at the craft show Saturday. (Alwood Grade School, Alpha, IL 8am-2pm)

Thanks for stopping by!

Quilted Flowers

Hi Stampers,

I am so excited to share with you today. . . . last Sunday I spent a few hours at my Grandmother's house with her and my mom. We were busy like an assembly line. My mom was cutting squares of fabric, I was running it through the Big Shot and my grandma was sewing the pieces together. I am feel so blessed to have had their help, because it would have taking me all day to do what we did. Oh and I should mention that Blake was there helping too! It's nice to have those young legs running around. :o)

Would you like to see what we created??? Using the Big Shot and the Flower Folds Die we made 10 of these Quilted Flowers!

Each flower has 3 layers that my sweet grandmother sewed for me . . . it would have taken me HOURS to do this . . . thanks Grandma! I hand stitched the 3 flowers together and added a Stampin' Up! button on the front and a pin on back so you can attach them to your shirt, purse, bag. . . etc. . the possibilities are endless!

If you would like your own Quilted Flower they will be for sale at the Craft Show on Saturday . . it's from 8-2 at the Alwood Grade School, which is on the north side of Alpha, IL directly off of route 150.

Thanks for stopping by, and make sure to check back tomorrow for another craft show item!
