I really love how the Big Shot cuts through fabric, so when I decided to make a banner for the holiday season I just knew it was going to be a fabric one. While my banner is not 100% finished I couldn't wait any longer to share it with you.
The first photo is an up close shot of the J in JOY. I picked up some holiday fabric at the local craft store to make this project.
While I was making my JOY banner at home I thought it would be the perfect BLOG Candy to give away on my blog. So now I need to ask you a question, Would you like to have your own JOY banner? I hope you said yes, because I will be giving away the pre-cut pieces to one lucky person, so that they can make their own JOY banner for the holiday season.
To enter this random drawing all you need to do is leave a comment on this post by Noon on Friday (12/5)! The winner will be posted on my blog and she will receive all of the pieces to make/assemble a JOY banner.

FYI - This blog candy is open to everyone, including my demo friends!!! If a demostrator wins the original drawing I will be drawing again, so that a customer will also win the JOY banner BLOG Candy. Don't forget to leave me a comment. . that's the only way to win! Good Luck!

Hi Georgia,
I think I like both ways of doing the banner. It would depend on your space and where you are going to put it, but I actually prefer the traditional banner if you have space. Would love to win the banner pieces!! :-}

Georgia! WOOHOO thanks for giving us a chance to win. I like hanging the non-traditional way. I like things out of the box and different. I love the fabric!!! Britni :)
Hi Georgia,
Your banner is very cute. Great fabric choices. I agree with Marty that it depends on where the banner is going to hang.

I like either way but if "I WIN" I will make it up and down to fit on the front door. Keep up the great work and love looking at your work. Missy
Hi Georgia,
Very,very cute! I like the banner hanging both directions. Maybe you should make two:)
I'm crossing my fingers for winning!

Hi Georgia,
I like both banners, but I might try a little different version of the non-traditional. I would hang the pieces with ribbon so that you could see more of each banner section, then make sure there is a way to strengthen the top of each section using a tiny wooden dowel or plastic dowel.
