Pop Up Cake Die!!!

Hi Stampers,

I am super excited about today's post. . and before I go any farther I need to send a special Thank you out to Kathy Tarter who let me cut a few cakes using her Sizzix Pop Up Cake Die. Thank You KATHY!!!

OK . . as I'm sure you can guess you are going to see a card today using the new Pop Up Cake Die from Sizzix. :o) This went together a lot easier that I thought it would. The cake was cut from Whisper White card stock using Kathy's Big Shot and Die. I colored the candles with my markers to make them match. The DSP on this project is Raspberry Tart. Remember to stock up this month with the buy 3 get one 1 special on all package of Designer Paper!

To keep the cake together I used Sticky Strip and I tied some Regal Rose 5/8" ribbon around the middle layer of the cake.

And. . I couldn't leave you today without sharing the outside of the card. I used the stamp set On Your Birthday and stamped in Regal Rose ink on Whisper White card stock. I layered that onto Yoyo Yellow card stock and added some more Regal Rose card stock below that. You can see I used the Ticket Corner punch on the edges of the Yoyo Yellow card stock. Other items used: Clear Rhinestone Brads and 5/8" Regal Rose Ribbon.

When you use the Cake Die you'll need to make your card bigger then the standard card. This card is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".

Thanks for stopping by today and make sure to check out Sunday's post for a chance to win!

Have a GREAT day!

Georgia
