200th Post & Sock Monkey - Catalog CASE

Hello Stampers!

Today's a special day, because this is my 200th blog post. WOW . . . . the time has gone by so fast! To celebrate I'm giving away some FREE blog candy. To win all you have to do is leave a comment on this post between now and noon on Monday and tell me what your favorite card or project was that you've seen on my blog. The winner will receive this:

Yummy Stamp Set, So Saffron and Certainly Celery Ribbon and a Elegant Eggplant Classic ink pad. BTW - if you already have the Yummy stamp set, make sure you still leave a comment, because this set can be exchanged for another Sale-a-bration stamp set. :o)

Thanks and Good Luck!

Have I told you lately what a GREAT idea book the Stampin' Up! Spring/Summer Idea Book and Catalog is? While I'm so happy that you have time to blog surf and stop at my blog often I don't want you to forget to check out your current and old catalogs too. Did you know that every stamp set in the catalog has at least one sample? It's full of hundreds of card samples and 3D projects. Don't forget you can get a catalog for FREE when you place an online order, of any size, at: http://www.georgiacaulkins.stampinup.net/. OR, you can also get a catalog for FREE when you book your next Stampin' Up! workshop.

Today I want to show you how easy it is to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) a sample from the catalog. First pick a sample. . . for today's example I want you to turn to page 68 of the catalog and look at the Sock Monkey stamp set. . . don't have a catalog yet? That's OK look at the paragraph above to see how you can earn one for free. :o)

Using the Supply sheet (you can find HERE) I CASED the card as shown.

Supplies Used: Sock Monkey and Sock Monkey Accessories sets; (Borrowed from my sister. . . . THANKS CARMEN!) Whisper White, Old Olive, Regal Rose, and Riding Hood Red card stock; Basic Brown Classic Stampin’ Pad; Markers; Rich Regals brads; Stamp-a-ma-jig

I have one more picture to share with you, just in case you don't have your FREE catalog yet. :o) Here's a picture of my card and the catalog showing the card I cased.

I just wanted to show you that CASEing cards from the catalog is so easy to do. I often find myself CASEing cards for workshops, make and take classes and even card club! Don't forget if you are thinking about becoming a demonstrator you have until March 31st to join at the discounted price of $169. Plus you'll also receive a FREE stamp set up to a $47.95 value! Click HERE for more details!

Happy Stamping!

HI Georgia,
I don't know how anyone can pick JUST ONE favorite! I sure couldn't. I can tell you that my favorite TOOL to use is the Big Shot with its great versatility. Any card made using even one die can be made in so many ways. You can duplicate the die and color and still come up with many ways to change the look of the card. I love the stamps, too, as thy are part of the way to vary the look of the card. DSP, with its various patterns is another great way to make your card look unique.

Hi Georgia-
I really like the box you had with the butterfly on it. I sometimes wish I had a girl to make those fun things for but I am sure I can find someone to give them to.
